Lex Medlin guest starred as Detective Andy Williams in the first and second seasons of Southland. Medlin has appeared in a wide variety of television commercials and sitcoms. He starred in2006 Fox sitcom Happy Hour.

He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Pasadena, California, USA (1990–1991).
Career[]
Medlin began his career doing local and Spanish-market ads for which he achieved some acclaim. He had a recurring role on Still Standing in 2003 and another on Rock Me Baby in 2004. He starred in the 2006 Fox sitcom Happy Hour as Larry Cone. Since leaving Southland he has had a recurring role on Drop Dead Diva as a judge.
Personal life[]
Medlin and his wife appeared together on an episode of the Food Network show Party Starters in 2003, in which their ranch house in the San Fernando Valley was transformed in tropical style for a housewarming. He has one child from a previous relationship.
